The
Olive Tree World Awards recognize culinary web sites that promote regional cultural traditions and exhibit a
sensitivity to food natural biodiversity. Anyone may
submit a site for recognition. Members of Papa's Parea review
submitted sites and vote on whether they should receive The Olive Tree
Award. The following sites have received the Award.
Adatepe Olive Oil

Description: The website for Adatepe Olive Oil, offering a look at both the cultivar and the village. The village lies at the western slopes of Mount Ida, overlooking the Aegean sea and Lesbos Island. This area was the temporary home to Paris, son of King Priam of Troy, where he enjoyed his pastoral life before being invited to judgement in the first beauty contest between Athena, Hera and Aphrodite.
